Long-term interns/Work trade
Between 2012 - 2015 we hosted more than 40 WWOOFers and nearly 25 interns. Here is what we find works best for us and for folks interested in interning or work trading.

At our place, we usually average 2 - 3 hours of farm work every day, with many days being longer as we take care of special projects. The best situation we had recently was a work trader who had his own self-contained RV, we connected it with water with hoses, and he had a generator (though we could run a drop cord for someone that needs that). He helped out mainly weekdays, mostly mornings, when he wanted, which was about 2 - 3 hours a day, and then he farm sat occasional weekends for us. He took on a few minor farm projects on his own. He could get all the eggs he wanted, milk when the goats were in milk, and when he pulled a longer day with us, we fed him.  The situation was relaxed and everyone pulled their weight. We didn't have to chase around after anyone. He picked up after himself at his site.

We could easily host folks at several places on our farm, depending on your needs. There are some photos below. If this kind of situation sounds like it would be a good fit for you, we'd love to talk to you or have you come visit.
